Get Membership

A member is a person who represent the community of Sirilak Sahana Sewa Foundation (SSSF) and he will be able to vote at the annual meeting of SSSF to elect its Director Board and Chairman. A Member play a special role in the dicision making process of the foundation and SSSF has more than 585 such members by now.

Any person who are willing to join the foundation as a member, should be suit to acquire membership accoridng to the constitution of the foundation and should promised to obey the rules and regulation of the foundation. And they should not participate in any act that leads to diminish foundations well reputation.

How to join

As constitution implies "Any Sri Lankan citizen who is interested in the activities and objectives of the organisation and willing to subscribe regularly to the membership fund shall join the organisation as a member by a duly filled form of application."

An application form for membership request is available for download. Interested people are welcome to get membership by filling and sending the application for us either by email to info@sirilaksahanasewafoundation.com or below postal mail.

Any Sri Lankan citizen who is interested in the activities and objectives of the organisation and willing to subscribe regularly to the membership fund shalljoin the organisation as a member by a duly filled form of application.
A member shall cease to be a member of the organisation in the event of death or voluntary resignation or disciplinary action.
Every member of the organisation, other than a probationary member, is entitled to vote at General Meetings and /or to be elected as an office – bearer of the organisation.
Categories of membership
- Life long membership
  Life long members shall be the members who dedicated their properties and intellectual capabilities, voluntarily, in order to form the organisation and promote its vision.
- Special members
  Members who serve as regular instructors of the training programmes of the organisation on voluntary basis shall belong to this category.
- Associate members
  Members who support and actively participate in the activities of the Organisation that do not belong to other categories shall be called Associate Members.
- Probationary members
  Trainees of the vocational training programmes conducted by the organisation shall be the probationary members.
Probationary members shall not be entitled to vote at meetings of the organisation and they shall not be entitled to be elected as office bearers of the organisation.
